Beginning Sunday July 19, 2020, each offender can receive one (1) free 10-minute video visit, per week (Sunday – Saturday), until further notice. If you do not schedule a free 10-minute visit first before scheduling any other visit, that visit will be marked as free in the system and result in cancellation. If any 25 or 50 minute visits are scheduled as free visits, those visits WILL be cancelled. Only the first 10-minute visit per week is eligible for this free visit offer. During the promotional period, the visitor is responsible for any cancellations due to incorrect visit duration selected when scheduling the first visit for a given week. The visitor MUST be on the offender’s approved visitation list. This visit cannot be carried over.  If you do not use it, you will lose it.  All Division of Corrections rules and polices must be followed during all visitation.

Introducing WebRTC for video visitation. 

WebRTC is replacing the flash player technology currently in use. This will allow the use of an IOS device for both scheduling and conducting video visits.

IOS users will need to ensure the default Apple device browser is set to Safari. Using Safari, users should navigate to https://shelbycountytn.gtlvisitme.com/app for scheduling and conducting video visits.

Android Users will need to update to the latest version of the applications GTL – Schedule Visits (1 of 2) and GTL – Internet Visits (2 of 2). Users will also need to change auto-update to enabled instead of disabled.
